xQc, who originally identified as xQcOW when he was an Overwatch professional player, is seen as much more than just a gamer these days, often referred to as more of an internet personality or celebrity.

He’s the kind of streamer that betting sites, like Stake, are attracted to, because if they can convince them to stream themselves gambling using their site, there is a good chance they will be advertising to upwards of 100,000 viewers at a time.

xQc is amongst the biggest streamers on Twitch, pulling in over 50,000 concurrent viewers regardless of whether he’s gambling or gaming. If there is an event happening or a new game is released, it’s never surprising to see his viewer count hit six figures.

Since the ban on gambling on Twitch, xQc has remained in place and has not yet been tempted to move to another platform in order to keep gambling.

This decision was arguably much easier for Felix than many other streamers, though, as his viewer count, contracts and general gaming diversity mean he is certainly not reliant on gambling streams to attract an audience and therefore income.

Who knows, though, with Twitch continuing to rustle feathers with payment changes and increased advertisements, even the King Of Twitch himself could be convinced to join TrainwrecksTV’s new platform as soon as it is ready.

As with video games in general, xQc is always keen to give a bit of everything a go. When such talent is present, it would be a loss not to.
