Tyler Faraz Niknam, who goes by the name of TrainwrecksTV online when streaming and on social media, has been one of the biggest streamers on Twitch since he arrived on the platform in 2015.

There were some rocky moments for TrainwrecksTV in the early years of his streaming career, as is standard for public figures that speak their minds without concern for consequence. He did, however, rise from a 5-day ban in 2017 to the second most-watched streamer on the platform during the 2020 US presidential elections.

Niknam eventually decided to start streaming his favourite hobby - gambling - on Twitch but had to move to Canada first in order to get around crypto-gambling laws that are in place across the United States.

While gambling on Twitch is often frowned upon due to the high volume of underage viewers, Trainwrecks did his part to fend off the criticism by displaying warnings of problem gambling and announcing that it is “not the norm” after each big win.

Following the ban on gambling on Twitch, Amazon’s streaming platform, Trainwrecks does still stream on Twitch, however you won’t find him gambling there.

He has, however, hinted that he is working on a new platform to rival Twitch, which will, of course, allow him to stream himself gambling again.

He claims the streaming platform he is working on is going to have a very specific feature that will be a surefire way to contend with the bigger streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube Gaming, however he will not reveal what this feature is.

Until this new platform is released, you will still find Tyler Niknam on Twitch, but he’ll be queuing popular games like Apex Legends, Fortnite and Call Of Duty with some of the biggest names in those games.

Due to Twitch's restriction on casino gambling, Trainwrecks set out to create a new platform that would not only permit slots and casino games but also provide a more equitable split of cash to the hardworking broadcasters. With non-disclosure agreements being chucked around left, right and centre in this day and age, is difficult to tell whether any gambling streamer is showing a legitimate gambling experience.
