Shady Lady is a new i-Gaming software development company that launched in 2024. Little information about the founders is provided on the company’s website or LinkedIn page. However, internet sources claim that Shady Lady is the creation of a group of i-Gaming veterans who have experience with providers such as Quickspin, among others.

Having adopted the catchy slogan, ‘Step into the unknown’, Shady Lady promises to deliver ‘one of a kind, often provocative and at times bizarre yet eye-catching casino slots to an audience tired of being spoon fed with mediocracy.’

Devil’s Finger - Quick Review

Shady Lady’s first slot, which you can play at Stake.com, features a cosplay nerd called Cosmo, who is taken into a new dimension that’s under the devil’s control.

All is not lost, though, as Cosmo has a few magic tricks up his sleeve to outwit Satan and help players win up to 20,000x their bet amount. The base game has a 6x4 reel configuration that offers 4,096 ways to win on any spin. However, there are two additional rows, located at the top and bottom that cover the middle four reels, which boost the ways to win up to 10,000.

Cosmo Feature

This feature is activated when a Cosmo symbol lands on the 1st reel (left to right) and there is no Devil symbol on the 6th reel. Once active, Cosmo summons one to five Wild Dragon symbols onto the reels, creating a surge of winlines.

Devil Feature

As Cosmo has his own feature, Shady Lady thought it only fair to even things out with a Devil feature. This triggered the opposite way to Cosmo’s. When the Devil lands on the 6th reel, but there’s no Cosmo on the 1st reel. When triggered, players get 1 respin with the extra rows unlocked. The Devil’s fingers move up 0 - 4 rows, which increases the reel multiplier by +1 for each row that is covered.

Free Spins

When both Cosmo (on the 1st reel) and the Devil (on the 6th reel) appear on the same spin, players win seven (7) Devil’s Finger free spins. All rows are unlocked during this feature, and the Devil’s fingers can move up at least four rows, again increasing the multiplier win on those reels.

Additionally, Spell Bottle symbols can land on the 1st and 6th reels. These award the following:

Healing Power - gives players 1, 2 or 3 extra free spins.
Lightning Bolt - cuts 1 finger segment to reduce its length.
Conjure Dragon - releases 1 to 5 Dragon Wilds on uncovered positions.
Frostbite - This spell removes an entire finger that is at least three rows tall.
Necromancy - it upgrades a random column multiplier by 1 to 5 steps.
