This is Stake’s third season in F1, and its second as the title sponsor of Sauber. Sadly, the iconic Sauber name will be removed from the grid at the end of this season because the company was purchased by Audi. In 2026, the Audi Factory Team will be making its long-awaited debut in Formula 1.

2025 Stake F1 Team Drivers

In 2024, the Stake F1 team had the hugely experienced Valtteri Bottas and China’s top Formula 1 driver Zhou Guanyu in the cockpits of their two Stake KICK Sauber C44 cards. However, the pair only picked up four points all season, coming from Guanyu’s 8th-place finish in the Qatar Grand Prix.

This season, Stake F1 has employed the services of the returning Nico Hülkenberg and the reigning Formula 2 World Champion Gabriel Bortoleto.

In addition to the new driver lineup, they have also secured the services of Red Bull Sporting Director Jonathan Wheatley, who will take over as team principal in April 2025.

With improved quality, both on and off the track, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber has gone all-in to improve upon its 10th-place finish in the 2024 Constructor’s Championship.

Bet on F1 at Stake.com

New customers can get off to a flying start with their F1 betting experience by using the Stake.com promo code HUGE. This unlocks a special 200% matched deposit bonus up to $3,000.

With your bonus cash added to your account, Stake has a stellar array of Race Weekend and Outright (season-long) markets to choose from, including:

  • Drivers Championship Winner
  • Constructors Championship Winner
  • Team Drivers H2H
  • Constructors H2H
  • Driver to Win a Race
  • Team to Win a Race

The Team Drivers H2H is an interesting market, as you can bet on which driver will score more points. Clearly, the bookies fancy Nico Hülkenberg, given his experience, but Gabriel Bortoleto is attractively priced at 4.75 right now.
